Subject: TKP Mill Facility Destroyed by Bastrop Fire
The TKP Mill facility was completely destroyed in the Bastrop Fire which began September 4, 2011. All of our personnel are safe and accounted for. However, all of our capital equipment, material handling equipment, buildings, structures, sawmills, and kilns have been destroyed.
To date, we have not yet been permitted back into the area to ascertain the extent of the damage, but law enforcement officials have notified us that it is a total loss.
The good news is that our Outlet Store survived, largely intact. However, we have not been permitted into that area yet either.
Please refer to our web site at www.texaskilnproducts.com and we will post additional information there as it becomes available.
There is currently no power nor phone service at the Outlet Store.
We solicit your patience in responding to your inquiries.
We are thankful for you, our friends and valued customers, and valued customers who became friends who were with us through the last 23 years.
