BAX Global

Rocking chairs are usually delivered by BAX Global.

We crate the furniture that is handled by BAX Global.  You will have to open the crate and dispose of it.  Kids love to play in them, so yours or the neighborhood ones may get a benefit.

BAX Global picks up furniture at our shop on Wednesdays.  Delivery will usually be made the following week.

BAX Global makes most deliveries from their own trucks.  Some destinations they do not serve, however, and for those points, they "interline" with another carrier who will make the delivery. Most of these interline points and some points served by their own trucks are called "Beyond Points" by BAX Global.  Additional charges apply to Beyond Points.  If your address is a Beyond Point we will let you know the amount of any additional charges within two working days of your placing an order.  We will not charge you more than the amounts posted on the prices page without your express approval of an exact amount.

BAX Global is more tuned to commercial customers than residential ones.  They deliver, curbside, in "Bob-tail" trucks (six wheels).  "Curbside" delivery means that they will take the item to the porch, garage, or into the first door, but will not go upstairs or deep into buildings. They will not open the crate or remove the debris.  Their service and the process of delivery are fully described in the Shipping Information Sheet shown below.

If you need additional or different services than those provided by BAX Global, we can ship the rockers blanket wrapped by Bekins Home Direct or, in the major cities of Texas, by Custom Delivery Service.  Blanket-wrapped delivery can cost twice what crated delivery costs; Saturday delivery is possible but would add to this price.  Travel time is 5–12 working days for blanket wrapped shipments.

Before shipment we will email, mail, or FAX a shipping information sheet giving a local phone number for the carrier, a tracking number, and other details.
