Inlays

Inlays in the surface of a piece of furniture can decorate it and make it personal.  Patrons request inlays of shapes, letters, logos, ranch brands, and symbols that are important to them.  We sometimes create some of general interest and appeal.  Our basic charge is $100 per inlaid shape necessary to produce the image.  Some very complex shapes are more, some simple ones are less.

If you have a design or an image that you might like to have inlaid in a piece of our furniture, you may mail, email, or FAX it to me; I will distill it to an appropriate line drawing, price it, and send the drawing to you as a proof.  There is no charge for this.

Because we live in Texas and because Texas has its own romance and patriotism (sometimes to excess, I admit), we often inlay the designs below.

Engraving

We can also engrave the chair backs.  Engraving can produce much more complex outlines, fonts, and more of them, while being more subtle than a high contrast inlay.
