Aaron Jones' Biographical Sketch

I was born in the hills of Wimberley Texas 22 years ago.  I have lived in Wimberley among small communities of craftsmen, artists and musicians.  Though I admired the artist's life, I chose construction as my source of income as a young man.

Gary and Leslie Weeks have long been friends of the family, as I attended public school with their sons Austin and Zachary Weeks.  Two and a half years ago I began working with Gary Weeks and his two sons on the construction of their new woodworking shop and house, which later earned a Green Building Certificate.  Having fully enjoyed the knowledge, craftsmanship, and ingenuity of the Weeks Family I accepted a job/apprenticeship with Gary Weeks & Co. building high quality furniture.

In the time I have spent with the Weeks I have gained a greater appreciation for the quality of design and work.  The refinement and expertise in the design and construction of the Weeks' furniture not only makes it incredibly comfortable but simply beautiful.  I remain in admiration of the Weeks' high standard of craftsmanship, handwork, and wholesome values that have made their products not only a success, but also a comfortable piece of fine art.
